Subbayya (S.V.Rangarao) who works hard to become rich. His wife Sharada (Anjali Devi), two sons (Krishna, Padmanabham) and daughter Kalpana (bharathi) does not know the value of the money and keep spending lavishly. Krishna spends most of his money on clubs while Padmanabham spends on drama troop, Kalpana falls in love with Giri (Ram mohan). Gopalam (NAgayya) who once worked with Subayya along with his son Anand (Shoban babu) and Raani (Vanishree) come back from Mumbai and starts his business in same town. How subbayya along with Gopalam teaches the lesson to his spouses in a hard way is the rest of the story.
