Hirnaya Kasyapa a well known king and great devotee of Lord Shiva. Alas getting pleased with his praying Brahma gets down to Hiranya and preahes him that immortalism will not be possible without drinking the amrutham which was drunken bu the devathas at the time of Ksheerasagar Madhanam. Hiranya gets wexed with the preachings and asks brahma to give him atleast boon i.e., he should not be killed by any living thing on earth, in the sky or in the water, neither in the day-time nor in the night ime. Brahma gives the boon from there the problem starts. Hiranya gets very coward and starts behaving very rudely to all the creatures in the world as he was a hater of Lord Vishnu he makes the idols of Lord Vishnu replaced by his. All this was not bearable by the gods asnd asks Lord Vishnu make Hiranya's wife to give birth to a boy. The boy was named Prahaladha and from birth he was a great devotee of Lord Vishnu, which was not bearable by Hiranya Ksapa. he sentences his son to death as Prahaladha was not leaving Lord Vishnu's name, from here th sotry tell how Hiranya Ksapa was killed by Lord Vishnu..
