Zokkomon is the electrifying and refreshing live action adventure movie. The story revolves around an ordinary boy who finds the strength to face extraordinary challenges.
Kunal(Darsheel Safary) is an orphaned boy, who discovers how cruel life is when he is discarded by his heartless uncle. To secure himself, Kunal discovers the hero within and begins his epic journey of adventure and transformation to become Zokkomon.
Director Satyajit Bhatkal seems to be completely confused with the genre and treatment of his film. The protagonist Zokkomon flies like Superman, disappears in thin air like Invisible Man, has a costume inspired by Iron Man and a mask derived from Krrish plus speaks in heavy base voice of Green Goblin. Yet Zokkomon is not defined as a 'superhero' in the film but is supposedly a creation of modern science.
The characterizations are as clich?d as the plot. Kunal (Darsheel Safary) is an orphan kid, ill-treated by his uncle and aunt. The aunty (Sheeba Chhada) carries so much gold on her body that she looks like a female version of Bappi Lahiri. And uncle (Anupam Kher) abandons Kunal to win the ancestral property in his name. So Kunal is lost in Mumbai where he meets Kittu (Manjiri Fadnis) who comes from nowhere and contributes nothing to the plot.
